باد همان هوای در حال حرکت است که از گرم شدن نابرابر سطح زمین به وجود می اید. هرگاه پسمماند یاباقیمانده ی محصولات کشاورزی در شرایط بی هوازی نبود هوا قرار بگیرند گاز هایی از ان ها متسائد می شود که به ان بیوگاز می گویند. اب ذخیره شده در پشت سد بزرگ انرژی گرانشی زیادی دارد بهره برداری ان و تبدیل ان به انرژی الکتریکی یکی از پاک ترین روش برای تولید برق است که به ان برق ابی می گویند. به مقدار انرژی که در اثر اختلاف دما از جمی به جسم دیگر منتقل می شود گرما می گویند. وقتی انرژی گرمایی از طریق جنبش مولکول های ماده و ضربه زدن ر مولکول به موکلول های مجاور خود به تدریج گرما به تمام ماده منتقل می شود که به این روس رسانا یا رسانش می گویند. دماسنج های جیوه ای و الکلی از رایج ترین دماسنج ها هستند.اگر این دماسنج های را در محیط گرم قرار دهیم جیوه یا الکل درون ان ها منسبط می شود و از لوله ی نازک بالا می اید. در این حالت ارتفاع جیوه یا الکل رنگی در لوله دمای محیط رانشان می دهند. سرعت جنبش ذره های یک ماده را دما می گوییم. دماسنج وسیله ای است که با ان دما را اندازه می گیریم.
